 Hello! My name is Sabine, welcome to our tiny coffee shop! This business is a dream come true, marking a new chapter in my life after years of being a nurse and then transitioning into several different management positions. Originally from Germany, I also lived in Barcelona, where I fell in love with its unique coffee culture. Exploring and adapting to different flavors and styles has been an incredible journey, deepening my passion for creating memorable coffee experiences. 

I’m also the lucky parent of three—two boys and a girl. My daughter Lya, who attends UNC Chapel Hill, is often around to help, while my younger son Len, is occasionally "voluntold" to help before heading to high school in the morning. My older son Luc, lives in Germany but usually visits during the holidays, so you might spot him helping out at the shop too. We believe in making our customers’ days a little brighter because this shop isn’t just about serving coffee; it’s about fostering community and spreading smiles.
